The Tragic Tale of Teddy Woven

This is a paranormal romance that follows the story of the protagonists: Teddy and Sela. Theodore "Teddy" Woven- a reserved man haunted by his past who lives in his secluded ancestral mansion. Sela- a private gardener who comes as a substitute for a week to work at Teddy's mansion.

The pace of the novel and the setting is very good. Teddy and Sela's budding relationship is written quite beautifully. Although at times I didn't like Teddy much due to his mood swings. The man gave me a whiplash with his reactions. But that's what made me stay connected to the character.

Coming to the paranormal aspect of this book, what I liked the most is it wasn't overly projected. The right amount of eeriness and suspense kept me hooked. At no point did I get a thought that the paranormal side is overpowering the protagonists' love story or vice versa. I liked the writing style of the author very much. It was so descriptive and classic. My only complaint is that the ending felt quite rushed, I wish I had read more of it. Nonetheless, there are many factors I loved reading in this book.

I liked the premise of this book very much. The author has created a wonderful story with just two characters. Without a doubt, this book is a page-turner. I've always been a sucker for paranormal romance stories and this book definitely meets up the expectations.
